Two Nigerian citizens connected to an international sextortion network that reportedly drove a Michigan high-school student to take his own life have been extradited from Nigeria to the United States.
Samuel Ogoshi and Samson Ogoshi, along with a third co-defendant, are facing allegations of coercing young men and teenage boys into sending explicit images online and then extorting them for money or sexual favors by threatening to expose the pictures.
The tragic case drew widespread attention after one victim, Jordan DeMay, tragically ended his life due to the suspects’ actions.
The authorities have charged the two suspects that are currently in the hands of law enforcers with crimes including conspiracy to exploit minors, distribute child pornography, and cyberstalking.
