New footage shows the wild moment when the armed robbers fled the Humble Gold Buying Enterprise in Dompoasee carrying two sacks of money while firing several shots.
This dramatic incident is the second armed robbery in the Amenfi East Municipality within four days, following a similar event at Wassa Akropong.
Around 1 p.m. yesterday, seven armed men stormed the Humble Gold Buying Enterprise in Wassa Dompoase, targeting its valuable contents of gold and cash.
The assailants, wielding guns and knives, confronted three shopkeepers present at the time, demanding keys to the safe housing the precious metals and money.
The robbers managed to escape with two sacks of money, firing shots as they fled the scene. The violent nature of the robbery has left the local community in shock and fear.
Authorities are currently investigating the incident and are on the lookout for the suspects involved.
