The authorities of the University of Professional Studies, UPSA have responded to a viral video of a ‘big girl’ flogging a ‘little girl’ for allegedly spreading rumors about her.
If you will recall from this article, a viral video surfaced online earlier this week of a lady student of UPSA ‘bullying’ a colleague who was allegedly spreading rumors about it.
The rumors alleged that the ‘big girl’ was slɛɛping with lecturers to secure a good grades in her education at the university.
Well, the University has finally released a press to address the situation.
According to the university, their attention has been drawn to the said video that was making rounds.
They continued by indicating that an investigation committee has been set up to delve into the situation.
It further stated that the behavior exhibited in the video was against the code of the university.
“The behavior exhibited in the video goes against our Code and does a disservice to the majority of UPSA students who uphold the values of respect and professionalism for which UPSA is known.”
Finally, the statement revealed that the University ‘remained committed and focused on producing graduates capable of addressing many global, regional and national challenges all nation face today’.
