An old video of Burna Boy walking out on his mom, and his grandfather, and an interview from a US cable station Vice TV have surfaced online as netizens go berserk over it.
The video is old footage of Burna Boy granting an interview. Burna was present along with his mother and revered grandfather, Benson Idonije, who was a prominent figure as Fela’s manager in the past.
In the video, Burna Boy managed to completely surprise everyone, leaving them in disbelief and with red faces after he abruptly got up from his seat and declared the interview session to be boring.
The interviewer avidly sought Burna’s perspective while his mother, Bose Ogulu, described her time as a member of Fela’s crew as the daughter of the late singer’s manager.
In an act of utter bravery, Burna Boy stood up, declared, “This is boring,” and left the group. His mother’s expression, which was vividly on display, was one of shock and dismay at the event.
Fans couldn’t help but comment on the video, and many of them had diverse opinions to share. Several criticized Burna Boy for acting so rudely towards his own mother.
