Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2017 was won by Selorm Magdalene Gafah of the Volta Region after 13 weeks of back-to-back amazing performances.
Selorm demonstrated her star potential early on in the competition by becoming the first competitor to win the “Star Performer” prize. Despite a decline in award wins during the competition’s middle weeks, her perseverance and the love of her followers helped her advance to the semifinals.
She once more sparkled, winning prizes for her outstanding performances.
The Volta region’s distinctive culture and traditions were showcased in her grand finals act, which won over the judges as well as the crowd.
Selorm’s spontaneous eloquence in the part discussing important Ghanaian topics further demonstrated her skill in public speaking.
She returned home with a car and a cash prize of Gh15,000 from Media General, Gh10,000 in medical insurance and spa treatments from DrugNet, Gh3,000 in flowers from Nadash Global Events, a Tecno Camon 20 series and Gh5,000 in Tecno goods, and a trip to Dubai from Global Wings Travel & Tour.
