A volatile situation is unfolding at the Ghana National Gas Company Limited (GNGCL) headquarters in Accra, as a group of individuals suspected to be supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have gathered at the premises.
Eyewitnesses report that the crowd attempted to forcefully enter the GNGCL premises, leading to a confrontation with security personnel.
In an effort to disperse the gathering and restore calm, warning shots were fired by the security forces.
The incident has prompted a significant security response, with both soldiers and police officers deployed to the scene to maintain order. Authorities have yet to provide an official statement on the incident.
