My Legs Will Be Amputed According To Doctors - Man Involved In Lil Win's Accident

The family of Nana Yaw, the 3-year-old boy who tragically lost his life in an accident involving actor Lilwin’s vehicle, has vowed to ensure that justice is served.

Despite alleged attempts by Lilwin’s management to compensate them with GHS 5,000, the family has refused to back down and is demanding accountability.

According to the family’s personal pastor, who spoke on Angel FM, Lilwin was driving under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident, and bottles of alcoholic beverages were found in his car boot. The family has rejected the compensation offer, describing it as insignificant, and is determined to see Lilwin held accountable for his actions.

Lilwin was arrested by the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) of the Manhyia Divisional Police Command on Monday, shortly after his discharge from the hospital, where he was receiving treatment for injuries sustained in the accident. He has been granted bail of GHS 50,000 plus two sureties and is scheduled to reappear in court on June 27, 2024.

The family’s determination to seek justice has sparked a public outcry, with many calling for accountability and a thorough investigation into the accident. The incident has also raised concerns about the prevalence of drunk driving in Ghana and the need for stricter enforcement of traffic laws to prevent such tragedies.
