The presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Mahama has said if authorities sack the Legon security man, he will reinstate him.
According to John Mahama, the NDC is winning the elections so whatever they do to the Legon Security officer he will be reinstated.
In a viral video on social media, the Legon security man was captured being escorted into a pickup truck by some other UG security personnel.
The Legon guard some days ago in a short video expressed his disappointment in Lydia Seyram Alhassan for only giving him 5kg bag of rice and a small bottle of cooking oil for 8 years.
Speaking during his campaign trail at the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency, John Mahama stated:
“I saw the video of the security man who showed the rice and the oil they gave him and he said despite the rice and oil he is going to vote according to his consent and so those of you harassing the security man leave the poor man alone”.
“You try to buy his vote, he says I won’t sell my vote leave him alone, anyway we are going to win, whatever you do to him if you sack him we will reinstate him, we will put him back”, he emphasized.
