A Nigerian woman has been arrested by the Nigerian police for allegedly locking her son in a dog cage over the weekend.
In a video sighted by OccupyGh.com, the woman was caught assaulting and eventually locking up his teenage boy in a dog cage.
The video has since then sparked a public outrage and a heated conversation on social media with many calling for the arrest of the woman in question.
In the said video, the teenage boy can be seen being flogged heavily by her mother. Although unclear, it can be ascertain in the video that the woman had in her hands a belt.
It can’t be ascertain what the cause of the flogging could have been but the woman was determine to inflict pains on the teenage shirtless boy as she continues to assault the him.
“You think you have power? Enter inside there. Let me hear pim! Enter inside there. Let me hear any noise.” She can be heard shouting as she pushes the teenage boy into a dog’s cage.

In new development, Dolapo Badmos, Police spokesperson has said on Twitter that the woman in the video had been arrested.
“The suspect is in custody and will be charged to court… The boy, who happens to be an orphan, has been rescued and kept in a shelter provided by Lagos state government,” she said.
