Prior to being formally invited to the BAR, Ama Governor stirred up controversy once more when she addressed the original petition to have her barred.
She claims that one of the arguments made in the petition is that she is a lesbian who has affairs with women.
Ama Governor, who validated the claim only after it had already been made, asserted that it was not a good enough cause to prevent someone from joining the BAR.
She claims to be a certified pans£xual, meaning that she finds attraction in people regardless of their gender or sexual orientation.
Ama Governor can so hit a woman today and a man tomorrow without batting an eye.
She claimed in an interview that this is not a justification for the bar to refuse to serve her.
Ama Governor and the General Legal Council have been fighting in court over its attempts to block her call to the BAR for the past year.
On the basis of the petition she referenced, she was initially denied entry; nevertheless, she contested the decision and ultimately prevailed.
She claims she will be called to the BAR shortly, yet she still chose to somewhat stir the pot!
