James Youngdon, a rising star on social media and a Twene Jonas impersonator, has apologized to Christians and Muslims for his remarks on Facebook.
The American man, also known online as Twene Jonas National Service, uses social media to address various concerns and has taken over Twene Jonas’ persona.
During a live Facebook broadcast last week on the streets of New York, he asserted that any man who bows and uses his forehead for prayer is an idiot.
He attacked Ghanaians as a whole and the many different religions practiced in the country.
One Muslim living in Ghana who was outraged by his behavior followed him and recorded him on camera.
Youngdon’s workplace was visited by the man, who humiliated him in front of his coworkers.
As long as he didn’t publicly apologize to Muslims and Ghanaians in general, he threatened to keep shaming him.
In a recent development, James Youngdon has apologized for his behavior, claiming that on the relevant day’s live stream, he crossed the line.
