A very sad news privy to our news desk at Occupygh.com indicates that a 16-year-old grade 10 pupil, Agness Katenga, of Lunga Day Secondary School in Mwinilunga district of Northwestern Province, Zambia, has committed suicide.

Agness Katenga reportedly killed herself after she was wrongly accused of stealing 3 sets of her mother’s panties.

According to the details gathered, Agness was beaten as well for allegedly stealing the said panties which belonged to her mother.

The details privy to our outfit reveals that the 16-Year-Old girl sneaked out of their house in the night after escaping her mother’s beatings. She then hanged herself to a nearby mango tree in the neighborhood.

A statement from the police reveals that they suspected no foul play.

The mother on the other hand allegedly found the said panties in her suitcase after she searched for them.

“When she wanted to wear one of them, she searched in four other bags except for the other old suitcase and found nothing. So she decided to call her daughter, whom she then accused of having stolen her new underwear. When she denied it, the mother beat her up. The girl got annoyed and later hanged herself in a mango tree at night.” A source close to the family revealed.
