A 19-year-old girl, Rumasau Muhammed, has reportedly stabbed her husband, 35-year-old Muhammed Adamu, to death following a forced marriage.
According to the details privy to OccupyGh.com, Rumasau Muhammed killed her husband after he refused to grant her a divorce.
DSP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, spokesperson of the police speaking to reporters revealed that the suspect stabbed Muhammed Adamu with a knife after seeking for divorce and the deceased refused.
The body of Muhammed Adamu has reportedly been deposited at the morgue. An investigation into the matter has also been launched.
