The 2020 3Music awards came off live on Saturday, May 2, 2020, despite the COVID19 outbreak in Ghana. The show was held live on TV which was hosted by Jay Foley and Naa Ashorkor

Due to the outbreak of COVID19, the awards show which was held at the Fantasy Dome was without the audience and award winners came through with their acceptance speech via the video conferencing app Zoom.

The live show saw a performance from Cina Soul, Kidi, Bosom P-Yung, Kweku Smoke, Daughters Of Glorious Jesus among others who performed live on stage.
