The Imo State Police Comand has arrested forty-four-year-old man, Chinonso Okonkwo, for defiling his fifteen- year old daughter at Orji, Owerri North Local Government Area of the State.
The victim had revealed how her father invites his friends to his house to also have carnal knowledge of her, in her statement to the police.
“It is noteworthy that it wasn’t the first time this is happening and that he normally invites his friends who come to his house to have carnal knowledge of his daughter.”
The Command Spokesman, Orlando Ikeokwu who confirmed the incident said that the incest was nipped in the bud by way of the information provided by a neighbor of the suspect.
He added that the suspect had confessed to the crime, but police were still trying to unravel the circumstances leading to his crime.
“He has been detained while investigations into the incident have commenced,” Ikeokwu stated.
