According to the Federal Ministry of Health, Nigeria’s Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases have increased to eight as an additional five new cases have been reported.
Contact tracing is currently underway.
According to details gathered, all the five new cases had a travel history to the United Kingdom and the United States, however, it remains unclear whether they all had contact with the last reported case.
A 30-year-old female UK returnee who came down heavy with the symptoms on arrival to the country and has since been placed under medical quarantine.
