It’s being rumored that 500 cedis coin is about to be released into the system which has sparked controversies on the internet.
The New 500 cedis alleged to be released that is circulating online is yet to be confirmed by the Bank of Ghana (BOG).
This will be the first time such a high-valued price would be made in a coin form in Ghana. This has generated a heated conversation online, after all no coin surpasses 2 cedis value in the country.
As expected, a section of Ghanaians reacted;
Emerald love; “Being a Ghanian gives me sleepless nights, how I wish they could sell Ghana and give me my share so that I can relocate to Germany”
Bwn Guy Guy; “How true is this information?
We don’t have 5ghc or 10ghc coins, so how can this be possible and people on this page are believing it?
