According to the police, a 22-year-old Louisiana woman was detained after she allegedly stabbed her grandfather in the face following a disagreement about her personal cleanliness.
Following the altercation brought on by her grandfather’s request that she take a shower, Carrington Harris of Keithville was taken into prison.
The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office said on Wednesday that: “Detectives say Harris and her grandparents got into a fight after they requested her to take a shower.
She started causing damage to stuff inside the home before cutting the power outside, according to the statement.
Investigators claim that as the couple was attempting to detain Harris, she fled and used a kitchen knife to attack her grandfather.
Following that, Harris left the house and hid in the adjacent woods. Hours later, local enforcement located her huddled behind a neighboring house.
According to sources, Harris was detained and charged with one crime of domestic battery with a deadly weapon and one case of domestic battery abuse.
For stabbing her grandfather, Harris is currently being detained at the Caddo Correctional Center.
There was no bond set as of Thursday.
The condition of Harris’ grandfather’s grandfather has not been updated, according to the police, who claim that he was brought to Willis-Knighton South.
