In a sad update available to us at occupygh.com, a recent graduate of the Ghana Armed Forces, Sherri Shalom, along with two other individuals lost their lives in a fatal accident last Saturday night in Juapong, North Tongu District of the Volta Region.
The trio was traveling in a Hyundai vehicle when it collided with the back of a cargo car laden with firewood.
While the two men seated in the front succumbed to their injuries immediately, Sherry Shalom, though alive, was found unconscious at the scene.
She was rushed to Akosombo Hospital but tragically passed away the following day.
The accident has left the community in mourning and raised questions about road safety in the area.
