Kumawood actor Sean Paul has broken his silence after being arrested and released by police earlier today.
He was taken into custody under the orders of Prophet Adom Kyei Duah, allegedly for insulting him.
In an interview following his release, Sean Paul recounted being arrested at his residence by five policemen, who claimed he had insulted Adom Kyei.
He described the experience as humiliating, stating he was treated like a thief despite being a preacher who only spoke as commanded by God.
Sean Paul expressed willingness to cooperate with authorities, but felt mistreated by the sudden arrest without invitation or warning. He mentioned the matter has been referred to court, and he awaits his court date.
The incident has sparked conversation about freedom of speech and the limits of religious authority.
Sean Paul’s experience raises questions about the balance between respecting religious figures and protecting individual rights.
