Adum Bawuah, a founding member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has revealed that the late finance minister John Kumah had $30 million in his account.
During an interview on TOP FM, Bawuah, expressing dissatisfaction with the current state of affairs in the country, made startling accusations against his own party members.
He claimed that while members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) are corrupt, NPP members are “100 times more corrupt” because they are “stealing from the state.”
Bawuah alleged that after John Kumah’s death, an examination of his account balance revealed the $30 million sum, questioning how Kumah could amass such wealth after just three years as a deputy minister.
