Ghanaian politician and minister-designate for Gender and Social Protection, Adwoa Safo, has revealed that LGBTQ (homosexual rights) is criminal in Ghana and therefore non-negotiable.
According to Adwoa Safo, the Ghanaian cultural practices frowns on it and therefore it should be left that way.
The Member of Parliament cleared her stance on the issue disclosing that she does not agree with upholding the right of homosexuality in Ghana.
Mrs. Safo made her statement during the vetting of her ministerial appointment.
This was after a video of Mrs. Safo dancing following her successful vetting surfaced online.
