The wife of Sadio Mane, Aisha Tamba, has revealed that she didn’t get married to the Senegalese star because of money as the narratives are being pushed.
If you may recall, Sadio Mane got married to his longtime girlfriend Aisha Tamba in a private ceremony in Dakar, Senegal.
The wedding ceremony attended by family and a few celebrated friends was an eye-catching one last week.
From the wedding, many have asserted that Aisha married Sadio because of his money, considering the age difference between them.
Sadio, 31, wedded Aisha Tamba when she turned 18.
In a chat with Dailmail, Tamba stated that she’s not interested in Mane’s money and fame.
“I am looking forward to my new life and I know that it will be very different. But I do not feel any pressure because Sadio’s fame and money will not change me. This is not what I’m interested in.
“I will remain a humble person committed to my faith.
“I’m not used to having so much attention on me because we are a very private family. We don’t like to show off and speak about our personal lives. I am a very down-to-earth person, this is how I was raised, and nothing will be different just because of this marriage.
“But I’m very honoured to now be Mrs Mane.”
