Akufo-Addo Does Not Care About Ghana Movie Industry – CEO of Eyeforce Multimedia

A popular Ghanaian movie producer, Nii Awuley Lartey – CEO of Eyeforce Multimedia has blamed Ghanaian President Akufo-Addo for the failing Ghanaian movie industry.

According to Nii Awuley Lartey, President Akufo-Addo has failed the Ghanaian Movie Industry.

“It looks like the government of Ghana doesn’t think about the Ghana movie industry a bit.

The Government is not ready to build the movie industry to get to where Hollywood etc have gotten to.” Nii lamented.

According to Nii, the Ghana Movie Industry has failed in the international scene.

“Ghana movie industry is only of the poorest industry in the world where the government doesn’t care about it,” Nii noted further.

“Those so call leaders also in the movie industry don’t care about it and only so much interested in dating the small girls who are also fighting to become movie stars.”

Nii Awuley Lartey further called on the government of the moment to do more to help the ‘dying’ Ghanaian movie industry.

He pleaded:

“The government should set up an organization that can help build up the movie industry in Ghana.”
