Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has revealed that President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo and Osafo Marfo have not tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19).
This was to clear the air after a video that surfaced on social media saw Ghanaian journalist, Kevin Ekow Taylor alleging the president of testing positive for COVID-19.
The Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah yesterday in a press briefing answered questions concerning their preparedness to curb the virus and an update on whether new cases have been added.
He indicated that news circulating on social media that said President Akufo Addo and Senior Minister had been was fake.
He further said that the public should desist from sharing such fake news and visit the Ghana Health Service approved website for information.
