Although I’ve COVID-19 I Went Out To Monitor The Registration Exercise – Deputy Minister Of Trade Carlos Ahenkorah

Deputy Minister of Trade – Honorable Carlos Ahenkorah has debunked the news that he was admitted at the ICU in Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

According to Honorable Carlos Ahenkorah, he once stepped out to monitor the registration exercise.

Carlos Ahenkorah made the revelation while speaking on Asempa FM. He admitted to having tested positive to COVID-19. On why he refused to self isolate and went around some polling stations in his constituency to monitor the Voter Registration exercise, he defended his actions.

“I am asymptomatic. My driver has also been tested for COVID-19 and tested positive. He just drove me to the center, he didn’t get out of the car with me “

“The fact that I have been told to self-isolate doesn’t mean I should step out of my house. How many people, who don’t even know their status step out” – The Tema West MP to Citifm.
