Steve Harvey has defended Burna Boy and other African artists against accusations of stealing from American music.
According to Steve, the West, especially America, who were inspired by African beats, rhythm, and soul. He emphasized that African music has a rich history and has always been a source of inspiration for Western genres.
He stated that instead of claiming Burna Boy stole, it’s more accurate to say that America stole from Burna Boy. He pointed to the deep roots of African music and its influence on various American musical styles.
