Ghanaian broadcast journalist Serwaa Amihere and gospel musician Piesie Esther recently visited Dzorwulu Special School as part of their corporate social responsibility as brand influencers for Flora Tissues and Top Choco brands.
They shared items and engaged in activities with the children, including dancing and singing.
During the visit, they performed Piesie Esther’s hit song, “Waye me yie,” for the students.
However, Serwaa Amihere’s passionate rendition of the song stirred controversy, with some suggesting she was overcompensating for a recent scandal involving leaked intimate videos with Henry Fitz.
Despite Amihere’s public apology, the scandal continues to generate discussion, with some criticizing her participation in religious activities given her past actions.
