Metro TV’s live broadcast of Good Morning Ghana faced a shocking disruption when armed men, accompanied by individuals in police uniforms, attempted to break into the studio.
The group forcefully entered the station’s premises, injuring at least one private security guard, who is now receiving medical care. This brazen act sent shockwaves across Ghana’s media landscape, raising concerns about press freedom and security.
Although the motive behind the invasion remains unclear, Metro TV has confirmed that authorities are investigating the incident.
Eyewitness accounts suggest that the attackers were determined to disrupt the morning show, though their reasons are yet to be established.
