Armed robbers räpɛd me in my kitchen, I’m now on HIV treatment — Mzbel

Musician MzBel has recounted a harrowing experience of being assaulted by armed robbers in her new home.

During an interview with Bra Emma on the Longest Interview Marathon, MzBel revealed that she was asleep when she felt a sudden blow.

Awakening to find a masked intruder demanding money, MzBel complied and showed him where it was. However, after taking the money, he instructed her to lie down.

Subsequently, she was sɛxually assaulted by the robber on her bed, and another member of the gang proceeded to assault her in the kitchen. Shockingly, everyone in the house was subjected to the same ordeal that fateful day.

Following the incident, MzBel and others sought medical assistance at the SSNIT Hospital in Osu, where they underwent HIV testing and were placed on treatment as a precautionary measure.

Although the perpetrators were arrested, MzBel disclosed that they met their demise while serving sentences at Nsawam prison.
