Ghanaian international footballer Asamoah Gyan is peeved after a Twitter parody account posted something about a missed penalty kick he took in the 2010 World Cup on the mini-blogging platform.

Asamoah Gyan reportedly saw the post shared by an IG blogger, ThoseCalledCelebs, where he reportedly promised to sue the account if the post wasn’t taken down.
He asked the account to delete the post.
He has further taken to Twitter to share this and sound a warning to others about the account:
“Disregard this fake and criminal page portraying my image as my official Twitter handle. My account is duly verified. Pls take not and deal with that faceless person accordingly as a criminal, anyone with info about him should alert my manager
@AnimSammy for action to be taken.”
The parody account shared:
“I intentionally missed the penalty because of my EX… I wanted to break her heart Sia ger.”

To make matters worst, the parody account replied him, saying:
“Asamoah Gyan please relax🙏🏾. Read my bio. It’s just fun we having ahba.
It’s not a crime to create a parody account nau don. It’s part of the celeb package 😘✌🏽”
