Everyone has that one friend, lover or family member who only keeps in touch when they need to ask for a favor of some sort.
Such people keep ones contact only because of the benefits they can derive from them and not because they genuinely care about their welfare or relationship.
A Facebook user, has in a post described such people as thieves who ride on people’s emotions to get what they want, advising that such people be avoided like the plague.
By extrapolation, such people are mostly emotional blackmailers who will play the emotional card anytime to get what they want without caring how the other feels.
Maame Efya took to Facebook and wrote:
“Avoid people who only texts you when they need something, they’re mostly emotional blackmailers.”
