Vice president of the Republican of Ghana Mahamudu Bawumia has indicated that 275 ambulances for promised one constituency one ambulance policy is coming in August 2019, OccupyGh.com reports.
Dr. Bawumia revealed that the government of Ghana has acquired 275 Mercedes Benz first class ambulances for this particular policy.
This assertion he made at a Muslim Community during a Ramadan tour at the newly formed North East region.
Currently as it stands, Ghana as a whole has only 55 public ambulances for general public hospitals which are in good condition. An addition of 275 will contribute immensely in sustaining good response unit in the health care.
