A moment that captures the moment a beautiful groom went partially blind just 24 hours before her wedding has been shared online by the woman herself to advise others.
A young lady, @explorraa on TikTok has shared a harrowing experience she had just days before her wedding during her big day.
According to the lady, she went to a pharmacy to get drugs for her eyes 24 hours before her wedding… it was because she was feeling pained at that time.
She got an eye drop for her eyes from the pharmacy. Awakening the next day, the bride found herself blind, with her pupils dilated and her eyes tearing up in response to light rays.
Rushed back to the pharmacist, she encountered another pharmacist on duty who expressed shock at the prescribed eye drop’s extremity.
It was revealed that the eye drop was typically used by ophthalmologists to intentionally dilate pupils before examining the health of the optic nerve and retina. Realizing the gravity of her situation, she was promptly booked for an emergency appointment with an optometrist.
She however went ahead with her wedding, and although her husband-to-be was supportive, she was partially blind on that day and was worried.
Luckily, she regained her sight a few weeks after the wedding.
