BET Awards 2019 Winners: Sensational singer and performing artist Burna Boy – Nigeria’s biggest music export was one of the winners at the just ended BET Awards 2019.
The event which happened on Sunday saw many winners with Burna Boy picking the Best International Act, in a category battle with countrylady Teen Makanaki.
To receive Burna Boy’s award, was his mother who had this to sa; “Thank you very much BET, thank you, Africa. That is the constituency for which we got noticed,” she said.
“The message from Burna would be that every black person should please remember that you were Africans before you became anything else.”
