Black Sherif, a Ghanaian artist has paid a heartfelt tribute to footballer Christian Atsu at the recent Wireless festival held in Abu Dhabi.
The artist took to the stage to perform among his hit songs, from “Second Sermon,” to ‘Oh Paradise’. At the height of his performance, Blacko paused to dedicate the performance to Atsu.
Black Sherif praised the footballer’s success and philanthropic work with his tribute – he sang the redemption song from Bob Marley as Atsu’s name and images rolled in the background of his platform.
The audience cheered in agreement as Black Sherif began his energetic performance.
Christian Atsu tragically passed in Turkey after he was caught up in his place of residence following an earthquake that struck turkey.
