BREAKING: 20,085 Cases – Ghana Confirms 697 New Cases Of Coronavirus
Ghana has just confirmed 20,085 cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) as of 6th July 2020.
The total number of active cases of COVID-19 in Ghana currently stands at 5,098.
The Ghana Health Service reports:
A total of 20,085 cases of COVID-19 with thirty-eight (122) deaths have been recorded.
Regional Breakdown:
Greater Accra Region – 10,979
Ashanti Region – 4,244
Western Region – 1,729
Central Region – 983
Eastern Region – 798
Volta Region – 362
Upper East Region – 278
Western North Region – 154
Northern Region – 137
Bono East Region – 136
Oti Region – 112
Upper West Region – 55
Savannah Region – 46
Bono Region – 38
Ahafo Region – 26
North East Region – 8
Nevertheless, it is important to note that a total number of 14,870 people have recovered according to the Ghana Health Service.
