Rosemond Brown aka Akuapem Poloo is tipped to return to jail after her appeal against her 90-day jail term was dismissed by an Accra High Court today, December 1st, 2021.
Her appeal was dismissed by Presiding Judge Ruby Aryeetey.
Akuapem Poloo was jailed for 90-days earlier this year after she was charged with child endangerment and other charges for taking a n*de photo with her son.
She reportedly appealed the sentence which was dismissed today upon a hearing.
According to the High Court judge, the initial sentence was not over excessive hence she sees no need to overturn it.
“This court will not interfere and the appeal is therefore dismissed,” Justice Aryee said.
Akuapem Poloo will therefore resume serving her sentence.
The judge has also ruled that in her absence, her child should be given to any family member who is competent enough to take care of the kid.
Sadly enough, Poloo is going back to jail.
