A piece of breaking news reaching OccupyGh.com indicates that popular Ghanaian cleric Rev Owusu Bempah has been refused bail, remanded in police custody.
Rev Owusu Bempah was reportedly picked up by the Ghana Police for assaulting and encouraging his ‘boy’ to beat up an officer.
He has further been charged with threatening to kill Nana Agraada as well as offensive conduct to the breach of peace.
He made his appearance before the Accra Circuit Court on Monday, 13 September, 2021.
He was reportedly accompanied by five of his members who are also facing the same charges.
