Sad news from Atwima Agogo in the Atwima Nwabiagya municipality of the Ashanti Region indicates that an unstable old building has collapsed on a 2-year-old boy killing him right on the spot.
The young boy, Nana Kojo was reportedly playing behind the building with other children on last week Saturday, 23rd March when the building which already had cracks collapsed.
The building, unfortunately, collapsed unto the children killing Nana Kojo on the spot. The remains of the boy were removed by Ghana Police Service and Ghana National Fire Service with the assistance of local people.
The Assemblyman of the area, Elisha Adarkwah who confirmed the news told Kumasi FM the community has so many of such cracked buildings in the area.
He also revealed that he was set to pull down that particular building a week from that sad Saturday.
