The burial date for the late former president Jerry John Rawlings has been announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration of the Republic of Ghana.
The announcement was in a statement released a little while ago.
According to the statement from the government institution, J.J Rawlings will be laid in state from 24th to 26th January 2021 at the Accra International Conference Center.
The former president will finally be buried on 27th January 2021.
Former President Jerry Rawlings died on 12th November 2020, reportedly suffering from the novel COVID-19 complications.
