Nakeeyat, the youngest superstar in Ghana, has made Ghana famous following his call to audition for America’s Got Talent. She received an audition invitation for the esteemed talent competition “America’s Got Talent.” America’s Got Talent, also known as AGT, is a televised talent show competition in the United States that is a part of Simon Cowell’s global Got Talent franchise. The show, which airs on the NBC television network, is produced by Fremantle USA and distributed by Syco Entertainment. After plans for a British version in 2005 were shelved due to a dispute within the British broadcaster ITV, it made its premiere on June 21, 2006. Participants with varying levels of talent from all over the United States and overseas are drawn to the program. Acts include comedy, magic, dancing, singing, stunts, variety, and other genres. Every act or participant who auditions tries to win a spot in the season’s live episodes by winning over a group of judges. Sofía Vergara, Heidi Klum, Cowell, and Howie Mandel make up the current lineup. To advance to the live final, contestants who make it into the live episodes face off for the votes of the judges and the audience.
