Chinese Inmate Wang Xiao In Nsawam Prison Escapes Custody During Hospital Transfer

In a piece of daring news reaching us, Chinese inmate Wang Xiao managed to flee custody while being escorted to Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra, Ghana for medical treatment.

Wang Xiao, serving a one-year jail term at Nsawam Prison for theft, exploited a moment of vulnerability during the transfer to make his escape, occupygh.com has gathered.

Complaining of illness, he seized the opportunity to break free from the officers’ custody.

Authorities have issued a wanted poster for Wang Xiao, urging the public to report any sightings or information to the nearest police station.

It read: “The above-named convicted prisoner escaped from lawful custody. Anyone with information on the said escapee should report to the nearest police station…”

On his way to the hospital, a Chinese inmate serving a one-year jail term at Nsawam Prison for stealing managed to escape while being escorted by officers to Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.
