According to recent reports, Nigerian musician Davido and his wife Chioma are the parents of a new baby boy.
Although Davido and Chioma have not yet officially announced the news, it appears the pair will be getting a new kid to replace the one they lost last year.
Recall that Ifeanyi Davido, Davido’s kid, died on November 1, 2022, sometime last year. When Ifeanyi Davido passed away, it was unexpected because he had just turned three.
In a recent series of events, the Lagos State Police Command declared on Saturday that Ifeanyi’s autopsy revealed that drowning was the cause of his death.
In an interview with CNN’s Larry Madowo for an upcoming African Voices broadcast, Davido discussed the agony of losing his son, three-year-old Ifeanyi Adeleke.
The Afrobeats master discussed his return to music-making in the interview, as well as how he found healing along the way, after taking a protracted social media break.
The “Over Dem” singer revealed that Ifeanyi had finished working on his fourth studio album, Timeless before he passed away. But he redubbed the album after the unexpected catastrophe.
We sincerely hope that the couple has indeed welcomed a new child even though they haven’t officially announced it.
