Following the devastating earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria last Monday, the Renaissance residence, home to Hatayspor Sporting Director Taner Savut and football player Christian Atsu, was searched using thermal cameras.
Reports indicate that three different sounds were heard coming from the rubble, leading the work machines to stop and miners to enter the site.
The search for survivors has been ongoing since the earthquake struck, with rescue teams from around the world working tirelessly to locate and save as many people as possible.
While the fate of Taner and Christian Atsu remains unknown, the search continues and the world holds its breath in hope that they may still be found alive.
