Grammy-nominated rapper Rick Ross was recently in Ghana for the country’s “Year of return” festivities, where he met and was enchanted by underground rapper, CJ Biggerman.
Biggerman, who was already a fast-rising star in the country, decided to meet Rick Ross at the airport immediately after his arrival.
Although he had received no invitation or correspondent from Rick Ross or his team, CJ proceeded to freestyle to the American rapper much to his amazement. The rapper would later invite CJ to perform with him on stage, after posting his video several times across his social media channels.
And thus begun CJ’s rise to fame. His newly released songs, “Chucku Chucku” and “Moni” received several thousand more hits on streaming websites and CJ’s following on social media has increased tremendously. The rapper also seems to have blown internationally, gaining fans in Nigeria, Russia, the United States and other parts of the world.
Only time will tell what the future holds for CJ.
