Ghanaian actress Xandy Kamel has responded to Charlie Dior’s fat-shaming and comments on his “Fashion Review” program.
In the wee hours of Wednesday, a video from Charlie Dior’s fashion show program that showed him body-shaming and dragging Xandy Kamel over her attire went viral on social media.
Xandy Kamel made his television debut on Charlie Dior’s show, but for the wrong reasons. Charlie Dior described Xandy Kamel’s clothing and shared his thoughts on it, revealing that she chose an outfit with clashing colors in an effort to look nice.
Due to the vibrant hues in her costume, Xandy Kamel was also compared to a “flower pot” by Charlie Dior.
When she saw Charlie Dior’s body-shaming film, she said on her Instagram page that she used to admire him from afar.
She iterated as follows:
“Wow interesting 🧐 just a few weeks ago I was telling @afia_pinamang_ that oh I love this dude from far and she was like 👍 oh yea he is cool and nice 👍 only for me to wake up to another body shaming coming from shim wow
Dear @charlie_dior God bless you for all the insults and body shaming
As long as you look just like me am fine and I leave you to your conscience, and God 🙏
That’s if only u have some
I know no one LOVES ME (XANDY)
I know I have no FANS
I know I have no SUPPORT
I know I have no one to SPEAK UP, ENCOURAGE OR STAND FOR ME
But I believe I have GOD WHO SEES ALL THE HATE I GET FROM YOU GUYS
Keep pushing me into depression one day the anger of GOD WILL COME UPON YOU ALL 🙏.”
