Just In: Coronavirus Patient In Ghana Reportedly ‘Escapes’ From Quarantine

Coronavirus Patient In Ghana Escapes From Quarantine

The woes of Italy started after 10,000 Coronavirus (COVID-19) patients escaped from quarantine to their families, that’s when they started recording more cases and death─and same is likely to happen in Ghana.

According to the details gathered, a Ghanaian who reportedly tested positive for coronavirus at the Tema General Hospital has refused to be quarantined and opted for a self-quarantine since the hospital isn’t well equipped to handle coronavirus cases.

The victim is said to have reportedly had contacts with about 107 people of whom only 5 had reported back to the Tema General Hospital to be tested. The others cannot be traced.

So apparently, this patient who reportedly tested positive for coronavirus due to lack of requisite medical facilities to contain him has been left to go home and self-quarantine.

This is serious and could lead to a total lockdown in Ghana! Remember, Italy is now a ghost country recording more cases and deaths than any other country.
