Court Releases Deportee & Others After False Gun Att@ck By Shatta Wale

Iddriss Yussif, aka Deportee, a talent manager, has declared that the court has cleared him of all charges related to the fictitious gun attack involving Shatta Wale that resulted in his arrest back in 2021.

The dancehall musician’s former right-hand guy revealed that he and the other two conspirators had all regained their freedom in a Facebook post on Friday.

On December 16, Deportee posted a picture of himself with Gangee and Nana Dope, Shatta Wale’s former assistant.

“Alhamdulillah today all of us are free from the court case. Myself, Nana Dope and Gangee.. you know what man will try and plan evil against you but trust in god he is the master planner Alhamdulillah once again.”

Following a doomsday prediction by well-known preacher Jesus Ahuofe, the three were detained in connection with a shooting prank organized by Shatta Wale.

Following their arrest, they were brought before the court and then remanded for one week in custody.

But Shatta Wale’s attorneys were able to get him released on bond after a court found him guilty of the charges against him and fined him GHC 2,000.

Deportee and his associates, who conspired with their employer to pull the hoax, were left to their own devices.

He revealed in a recent interview how Shatta Wale abandoned them to rot in jail.
