COVID-19: Ghana Confirms 178 New Cases, Totaling 25,430
Ghana has just confirmed 25,430 cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) as of 16th July 2020.
The total number of active cases of COVID-19 in Ghana currently stands at 3,780.
The Ghana Health Service reports:
A total of 25,430 cases of COVID-19 with one hundred and thirty-nine (139) deaths have been recorded.
Regional Breakdown:
Greater Accra Region – 13,986
Ashanti Region – 5,277
Western Region – 2,190
Central Region – 1,131
Eastern Region – 962
Volta Region – 441
Upper East Region – 282
Northern Region – 271
Bono East Region – 206
Western North Region – 200
Oti Region – 138
Bono Region – 107
Ahafo Region – 103
Upper West Region – 70
Savannah Region – 57
North East Region – 9
Nevertheless, it is important to note that a total number of 21,511 people have recovered according to the Ghana Health Service.
